Our Method: From Diagnosis to Measurable Growth
Most SEO doesn't fail from doing too little — it fails from doing things in the wrong order. Scan the architecture, then look at content gaps, and only then at links. That sequence isn't preference, it's causation: until content is indexed properly, writing more of it changes nothing.
What the diagnosis covers
We pull together data from Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, and DataForSEO. The analysis covers:
- Current keyword rankings and organic traffic performance
- Keyword cannibalisation
- Keyword grouping and cluster planning
- Matching search intent, target keywords, and pages
- Site architecture and internal linking issues
- Competitor content and content-gap analysis
- Competitor backlink-gap analysis
- The content gap between your pages and the top three results
What we do with the findings
With the analysis done, we restructure the site around keyword intent and map each cluster to the right page — so several pages stop competing for the same terms. This is often the real reason rankings have stalled, and it can be fixed without adding a single new page.
Then we compare the sites ranking above you and identify the gaps in content depth, topic coverage, authority, and backlinks, prioritised by impact against effort. Not every gap is worth chasing — some links a competitor has simply aren't available to you, and we'll say so.
Only once the content gap narrows do we push on authority: analysing competitors' backlink sources, finding opportunities genuinely worth pursuing, and planning the content assets and outreach to support them. We don't buy links.
The eight steps
- 1Site and technical audit
- 2Keyword research and search-intent analysis
- 3Site architecture and page planning
- 4Mapping keyword clusters to target pages
- 5Competitor and content-gap analysis
- 6Backlink-gap and authority analysis
- 7Building, rebuilding, and optimising content
- 8Tracking, adjusting, and continuing to execute
Where AI sits in this
AI isn't a replacement for traditional SEO — it helps an experienced team get through collation and diagnosis faster. Being specific about what it does and doesn't do is more useful than claiming everything is “AI-powered”.
AI does
- Extracting and classifying data — crawl results, ranking data, competitor content
- SERP pattern comparison and a first pass at content gaps
- Skeleton structure for content briefs
- QA checks on links, heading hierarchy, and schema consistency
AI does not
- Judging commercial value — which opportunity comes first is a human call
- First-hand evidence and fact-checking
- Judgement on regulated content, such as legal or medical
- Brand positioning and wording
- The final decision to publish
Every analysis, content direction, and optimisation plan is reviewed, judged, and confirmed by an SEO specialist with over a decade of experience before the team executes it. That division — AI accelerates the analysis, people make the decisions — keeps the judgement and execution quality of traditional SEO while cutting the research time substantially.
What we don't do
- No guaranteed rankings or AI citations
- No bought links
- No mass near-duplicate pages covering keyword variations
- No invented case data
- No treating FAQ schema as a ranking shortcut
- No publishing AI output unreviewed
